What’s the best way to keep a dog from pulling on the leash?
When we adopted Daisy a few months ago, she was intact and untrained. We’ve gotten her to ignore other dogs while taking walks, and got her to stop pulling the leash. However, she got spayed 2 weeks ago, and couldn’t go for a walk for 10 days. The last few days have been hell trying to walk her! We were thinking of trying a haltie, (around her muzzle) or an obedience collar. Has anyone tried both? Which one do you like better?
She’s an AmStaff, and is really strong!!!
Elaine– I have tried both those things, stopping & turning around. All we do, (for the last week) is turn in circles, or stand still! That’s why we’re looking into something else.
