I have two poodles, a standard and a toy. I have decided to start grooming them myself. Where is a good place to buy them and what should I expect to pay? I have looked at pet stores, but I know it must be possible to get the same clippers some where for less money. Any good DVDs to watch?

You will want a good quality one, and they usually sell for $150-$250. Oster and Andis both make good clippers and some of the models have interchangeable blades. Get a clipper that has removable blades so you can switch and clean easily. Stainless steal combs (guides) are a good way to get different lengths.
