Bathing puppy in winter?

I have an austrailian shephard puppy that stays outdoors at night to sleep. He has a large lot covered with 2 sides to keep a draft out, medium sized dog house with flap over front, and a heating pad covered in towels to help keep him warm. Today he some how managed to get doggie poo all over himself and he smells terrible. I was wondering if it is ok to give him a bath indoors, then keep him inside 5-6 hours to give him proper time to dry before taking him out to go to sleep. Somone recently told me i couldnt bath a dog in the winter though because it takes them four days to dry and he would get pnumonia? Somone tell me if i can bath him right now and a proper way to make sure he is fully dried.

I would bathe him and then keep him inside overnight (or a couple hours anyway). It does not take a dog four days to dry. Overnight will be more than enough time; just run your fingers through his coat well to ensure that there is no dampness in the coat.

Guinea pigs make wonderful pets. I have prepared a list of 13 things it is important that all new owners should know.

  1. Guinea pigs should have things to chew because their teeth are constantly growing. Make sure you have enough to chew and that will cause them no harm.
  2. Guinea pigs are social animals and feel much better with the company. Two pigs are better than one.
  3. If a fellow decides to take their furry friend to walk away from two men. Choose between two females or one male and one female. Men sometimes have difficulty understanding and tend to fight.
  4. Your new pet will be healthier and live longer if they can get enough exercise. The box should not be too small and need accessories that provide a way to start exercising.
  5. Make sure their homes are quite large. At least 7.5 square meters, 10.5 square meters for two people.
  6. Your Guinea Pig has a personality charming. They need human interaction to get it out.
  7. New Guinea pets are often shy and a little fear in their new environment. Be patient. No read in its cage. You need to earn your trust. Be nice. Give them a chance to adjust.
  8. These adorable creatures, like humans can make their own vitamin C and needed to get it through their diet to prevent scurvy.
  9. They need a balanced diet containing adequate amounts of crude protein fiber and vitamin C. Buy high quality food and to check labels for content.
  10. In addition to buying food, Guinea pigs eat vegetables, but not all vegetables are good for them. Take time to learn what they can and can not go to eat. Absolutely Never feed your pork.
  11. New relationship your pet easier than if maintained and give affection. Just Be sweet. Human contact is so important to their welfare, especially if they have no partner.
  12. Guinea pigs are particularly good for elderly people living alone. They are easy to maintain and manage. As a companion to an elderly person interaction that will encouraged.
  13. Having a pet like this is a great way to teach children a sense of responsibility.

This list could be much more long. I have played in some of the most important types of information to Guinea pigs for a new owner must be aware. If you take the time to learn about these little unique animals, will provide many hours of pleasure and fun.
