Okay Cortizone put my dog to help stop the itching?
My dog has very bad allergies and itching a lot, and I wondered whether it would be wrong to put Cortizone on it? I do not know if it would hurt to increase again (by mouth) if Cortizone in it or not. If not, does anyone have any suggestion to help stop itching so much?
Yes, hydrocortisone put on your dog can be useful for itching, and will not hurt if she lick off. If your dog is not opposed to clothing, a good trick is to put hydrocortisone on your shirt and put a dog not to lick. You may also want to give your dog a Benadryl baby allergies if it is to make it more comfortable. We also suggest using a shampoo oatmeal flakes to make it less prone to sting. Many dogs are allergic to the dog food ingredients such as soy, wheat and corn. You may want to consider changing the diet of your dog. I feed my dog high quality Canidae dog food and Natural Balance. This was a solution that many people have found to be useful. You may want to take him to the vet. The vet can give a steroid that will make them feel better temporarily. Also, if your dog has many points of wear or scabs badly you want can bring in the vet to see if you have an infection by fungi. Fungal infections requires a certain type of shampoo that your veterinarian can recommend.
