Will I confuse my housebroken dog by training him to use a “Mini Wee”?
A “Mini Wee” is a synthetic grass mat where dogs can pee indoors.
I would like to train him to use one for the long days that he’ll be home…versus placing him in doggie day care.
Anyone have any expereince with “Mini Wees”?
Will this confuse him and some how make him revert back to having accidents in the house or make him not want to use the bathroom outside?
Pee pads or anything that is supposed to be used indoors tell a dog that it is ok to eliminate in the house. Once you go down that road, it is very hard to come back. If your dog is housebroken, I would not use it. If your dog is having accidents, you may want to hire someone to come in at lunchtime and let the dog out. Or if you are close enough to home, come home yourself to let the dog out.
