If you want to win races of dogs, must be able to see things that the average punter does not see. There are all sorts of tricks that can make a so-so in a handicap handicapper very good.
One is being able to tell when a dog will run out of character. If everyone expects to break a dog, but you know what will not be in this race which is well ahead of the game, right?
But how can you say what the dog will do in any particular race? Greyhounds and does not always work with the same style? Why a dog is coming soon, what a race?
One of the dogs speed reasons to start to be slower in some races, is because they have been overcome. If the other dogs out much faster than them, some dogs do not even try.
