The government takes care of us, and makes a little spending money. Hmmmm?

So, if the government needs more money/power, maybe it should expand its programs to “take care of us”.
What should the government ban next?
I’m sure there is LOTS of revenue out there, just waiting for the next Nanny-State law to be enacted.
Here are a few suggestions:
All pedestrians be required to wear reflective vests.
All dogs must have RFID chips.
Mandate calorie restrictions for obese people.
Require auto drivers to ALSO wear crash helmets.
Require citizens to get COMPLETE physicals every six months.
Require seat-belts on motorcycles and ATVs.
Make alcohol consumption illegal (again).
There are many more ways that the government can generate revenue, uh, I mean, “take care of citizens”.
Can you think of any?
How do you cook a live frog?
You place it in a cool pan of water and gradually turn up the heat, he never realizes he is being cooked.
That is the way our government works.
Let’s tax sinful things, those people deserve to be taxed on smoking and drinking, and such things.
Then let’s tax cars, if you can afford to drive you can afford to pay a tax.
Now we can make laws to protect people from themselves and if we catch them disobeying the law we slap them with a big fine, for their own good.
There is a birth tax, and death tax, and a tax on everything in between.
Today, we pay in excess of 40% on our total earnings.
Some politicians claim we do not pay enough taxes, and want to raise the amount so we can all pay our fair share, and help out those who not only don’t pay taxes, but are given some of our tax money because they don’t make enough.
The only thing that isn’t taxed soon will be taxed because the hogs at the government trough will never be satisfied.
Why Dogs Love Dog Clothes
Why Dogs Love Dog Clothes
A number of dog owners are quite apprehensive at the thought of allowing their dogs to wear clothes. After all, isn’t it more natural to have them covered with fur alone? But do you know that dogs actually enjoy wearing clothes? They may not tell you outright, but you would understand by the way they jump around and walk so proudly, especially when you’re outdoors in public view. So what’s keeping you?
Â
Reasons Why Dog Clothes Are Well loved by Dogs
Â
There are a lot reasons why dog clothes are welcomed and much appreciated by your pooches. Let’s start with the obvious ones:
Â
1. It keeps them in style and in fashion. If you think that trench coats are not in during summer, dogs are also aware of that too. They would also love to wear something that allows them to hit the beach or to play Frisbee without ever thinking if they’re in their right clothes or not. There are statement shirts that permit them to express their sentiments and reflect their personalities.
Â
2. They attract more attention. Dogs love attention. They always want to be hugged, cuddled, patted, praised, and well appreciated. The right outfit will make your dogs feel good and boost their self-confidence. With dog clothes on, they would never fail to attract the attention of humans and, of course, the opposite sex. These sets of apparel will allow them to stand out among other breeds. It would never be long before you can hear girls oohing or the male pooches with jaws dropping and eyes bulging. The lady dogs, on the other hand, will soon start approaching your pooch. Lastly, with the attention they are getting, the pooch will develop better social skills.
Â
3. These clothes make them look gentler. There are just some dogs that don’t appear too friendly. Thus, they are not frequently approached by other people, especially by children. As mentioned, though, dogs need attention. Having them wear dog clothes will soften their tough persona and make them look gentler and more approachable.
Â
Now, the not-so-obvious ones:
Â
4. It allows them to stay in tip-top shape. Several dog owners and buyers of dog clothes go for style first before practicality. Perhaps it’s because they’re not really sure of the essence of dog clothes when it comes to the health of their dogs.
Â
If you’re raising a small pooch like a Chihuahua or a pug, for example, you need to buy them sweaters and other winter clothes to help them beat the cold. They are not gifted with thick fur, which can keep them insulated at all times. These types of clothing will also prevent the development of frostbites and hypothermia. During summer, T-shirts and hoods will keep the sun’s rays off their skin, so they will not suffer from sunburn or skin cancer.
Â
There are many different kinds of dog clothes available, and your choice will depend on what you want to achieve: fashion or comfort. Nevertheless, in every decision that you make, ensure that your pooch is included. Never underestimate his taste.
Â
