Protecting My Dog During Winter?
Hello,
I’m taking my Doberman to ski resort. It is really exciting for both of us. However, my Doberman never been in the snow. Should I get him some winter gears like snow shoes and jacket to protect his short haired body and long exposure treading in the snow? If so can anyone recommand me a good website to purchase quality winter clothing for my pooch?
I’m not a fan for canine to wear clothes but I felt this is necessary to protect him from getting sick. Am I worrying too much?
I thank you for your time.
Thanks for the prompt replies everyon. We will be outdoors most of the time during the day and be inside the cabin during the night. The temperature change is what I’m worrying about. I dont really like the clothing in Petsmart or Petco. I want something nice like a fleece or dawn insolated coat for him. Sounds like dog boots are necessary for him.
you know, a couple of hundred years back, clothes for pets didn’t even exist.
your dog will be fine,
with or WITHOUT the doggie boots, doggie coats, or doggie sweaters.
it’s just for show.
they grow thicker hair when it’s cold then shed it when it’s warm.
