It will be about 2 feet by 2 feet by one foot (a foot is 12 inches). Your foot, if you are an adult male, is about a foot long.
An unfolded page of a standard sized newspaper is about 2 feet by 2 feet. Folded, it is about a foot. Imagine a box that fits on an unfolded page of newspaper that is as tall as a folded newspaper. This object would be about that size. That will give you a gross estimate.
Also, a lot of ceiling tiles, especially the acoustic kind found in offices, are 2 feet by 2 feet.
The dog shown is a Boston terrier, and it is about life sized. These pictures will give you an idea http://www.google.com/search?q=boston+terrier&sourceid=ie7&rls=com.microsoft:en-US&ie=utf8&oe=utf8
This one is a little bigger than the toy: http://www.gutenberg.org/files/18033/18033-h/images/img12.jpg
