Need really tuff dog toy for extreme chewer?
I need a dog chew toy that WONT break my dog is what I call an EXTREME chewer. He is a mix that is a major clown, a very funny little guy (50lbs max). I need some ideas for toys that will be safe around him because he can destroy more things and at a faster pace than my pit bull and my GSD! I need a toy that I can trust and it will be safe for him to play with even by himself. *IF YOU HAVE TUFF CHEWERS LIKE I DO, I NEED YOUR HELP!*
The following is a list of “tuff toys” that didn’t cut it:
Orbee tuff toys -destroyed after 30 mins
Nylabone – he took one bite and in 10-15mins there was nothing left
Kong – he ate this in approximately an hour, tried this on 2 diff. occasions and same result.
Raw cow bone- This works well, but I hate the smell also he can only have this for 30mins at a time bc when i leave it down longer they get diarrhea (the more the marrow the longer they are sick)

You defiantly said toy, but i just HAVE to recommend this to you as i have an Extreme chewer too. (labrador retriever, notorious for chewing) DEER ANTLERS! Are by far the best investment i have ever made. Ever. They don’t stink, don’t splinter, don’t stain carpet and my dog is CRAZY about them! They are supposed to taste ‘wild’ and what ever wild tastes like, my dog loves. He chews this thing all day, every day and never tires of it. Not to mention, he hasn’t even made a dent in it! He’s had it 6 weeks!!!! They are relatively inexpensive, he chews a medium sized one and it was 8 dollars, with 2 dollar shipping. Which i consider a great price for how long he has had it. They are full of calcium too! You should give one a try, you will NOT be disappointed! I get mine at PetExpertise.com. They have the best price!
