Dog Ruff Wear Grip Trex Boots?
I have been planning to get a set of decent bootie for my dog. My vet told me a lot of dogs get fox tail into their paws and nose. It usually ends up with costly surgery and medication. I don’t want anything like this to happen to my dog. I was looking at the Ruff Wear Grip Trex Boots. It is a little bit pricy, but I have read some pretty good reviews for this pair. I saw some other ones for $20 less, but it seems like the fitting is not as good. Do you guys have any recommendation?
yes I agree that they are bit heavier than other dog booties, but I thought they were made with really good quality. That’s the reason why I was looking at them. I didn’t want to get like 5 sets in a few months. I was looking at the other ruff wear booties. They are probably the ones you guys were talking about. They are much lighter. I might get those instead if I can find a medium for him, since they were all sold out in the store.
My puppy wears boots in the winter because he hates getting his feet wet (typical Italian greyhound) To get him use to them though, I bought a pair of baby socks ($2 at wal mart) and had him wear them around the house to get use to having something on his feet. A fellow IG owner actually uses only ruff wear for her 2 IGs. She highly recommends the brand and her pups are always using their attire as they live in CO.
