vari dog kennel
Can i just have my english lop live in my room?
if i rabbit proof my floor and room can i just make an area for him to sleep, eat, and use the bathroom?
or is it better to just buy a huge cage.
im asking because the rabbit will be out of the cage pretty much all the time. but should i still buy a cage incase he wants somewhere to get away?
also i’ve seen a woman use a large dog kennel for her english lop aswell.
so could i use a kennel such as thishttp://www.magictails.com/abydos/images/pets/kennel_vari_300.jpg and put blankets and what not in it as a place to relax and feel a sense of security then just leave the cage door open and rabbit proof my room?
thanks in advance
I would suggest keeping a cage for him, just in case there is a time you will be gone for a while. Bunnies love to chew… ANYTHING. You don’t want to leave and come back to nibbled cords and half-eaten documents! A cage will help you keep your sanity and will help you keep the bunny safe.
Selecting A Dog Breeder What You Must Know and Pay Attention To
Dogs are considered as man’s best friend.
Owning one involves a lot of responsibility. Feeding is not enough. You must also groom, watch its health and diet, clean up after it and most importantly, give it some tender loving care.
There are many places you can get a good dog. Kennels and pet stores are popular choices as it the pound or shelter. But if you want to get a purebred animal, you must seek a reputable breeder to get the best results.
Finding the Right Breeder
Much will depend on the breed of dog that you choose. Many professional breeders do not breed
frequently. When a pair is found to be healthy and of good temperament they can insure the birth of healthy offspring. Most breeders will breed only when a sufficient number of owners have been evaluated and deemed appropriate.
You should research any breeder by asking around and make sure to interview as many breeders as possible before making a decision.
The ideal breeder should have good comments from former client and make sure that the parent dogs are tested for every possible disease. He or she should also have all the information regarding the pair’s ancestors and health records on file.
What Will be Expected of You?
Reputable breeders will have certain requirements that you must have before qualifying as a potential dog owner. These are usually in the form of written contracts or guarantees with a
spay or neuter requirement that limits the registration of the puppies. This is done both for the protection of the owner as well to control a possible overpopulation problem.
The person who wants a dog may be required to have a secured backyard and attend certain classes such a puppy kindergarten to be familiar with the challenges you will face come the time the
dog has been given.
The requirements will vary from breeder to breeder and are not to delay the process of giving you a dog but to ensure that you are aware of what will happen as a dog owner and the responsibilities that come with it. Naturally they also want to make sure that their puppies will have good homes.
When You Have Found the Right Breeder
Once you have found the ideal breeder, it will be time to — wait.
Since the demand is high for the dogs of good breeders you may be far down in line. Then once your puppy is born, the newborn pups will still have to be raised with the breeder and will only be released when it is old enough for you to take home.
